At Kaamkaaz, we are dedicated to building a trusted community that connects daily wage earners and recruiters across India. These Community Guidelines are designed to ensure safety, mutual respect, and fairness for every user. By using our platform, you agree to abide by these standards.
1. General Rules for Everyone
- Respect and Dignity: Treat all users with courtesy, regardless of their background, gender, caste, religion, or language.
- Honesty and Integrity: Provide completely truthful profile details, skill descriptions, KYC documents, and wage quotes.
- Legal Compliance: Do not use the platform to violate any local, state, or national laws, including minimum wage codes.
- No Harassment: Threatening, abusive, defamatory, or sexually explicit content/messages are strictly prohibited.
2. Guidelines for Workers
✅ Allowed / Recommended
- Complete your KYC verification honestly using your own Aadhaar card.
- Only apply for jobs that match your genuine skills and availability.
- Arrive at the work location on time as agreed with the recruiter.
- Perform work professionally, prioritizing safety on the job site.
- Communicate clearly if you cannot make it to work due to emergencies.
❌ NOT Allowed / Prohibited
- Do not submit fake documents or perform KYC using someone else's Aadhaar.
- Do not accept a job and fail to show up without notifying the recruiter.
- Do not upload photos or portfolio work that you did not personally perform.
- Do not solicit recruiters for advance payments, loans, or inappropriate favors.
- Do not behave aggressively, dishonestly, or unsafely while on duty.
3. Guidelines for Recruiters
✅ Allowed / Recommended
- Post clear job descriptions, outlining work hours, conditions, and wages.
- Pay workers the agreed amount in full and on time upon job completion.
- Maintain safe, occupational-hazard-free working environments.
- Verify worker qualifications and verification badges before starting.
❌ NOT Allowed / Prohibited
- Do not post deceptive, fake, or illegal jobs (e.g., hazardous tasks for minors).
- Do not withhold agreed payments or cheat workers out of their hard-earned daily wages.
- Do not discriminate in hiring based on caste, religion, gender, or disability.
- Do not ask workers for registration fees, deposits, or application charges.
4. Consequences of Violations
We monitor flag reports and activity to protect the community. Violating our guidelines may lead to:
- Formal warnings sent to your registered email and phone.
- Temporary account suspension, restricting job applications or listings.
- Permanent platform ban and deletion of your profile.
- Reporting of fraudulent or illegal behaviors to local law enforcement authorities.
5. How to Report a Violation
If you witness any behavior, job post, or message that violates these guidelines, please report it immediately:
- Use the 'Report' button on the user's profile or job listing in the app.
- Email us details with screenshots/evidence at ankityo9079@gmail.com.
All reports are investigated anonymously within 48 hours.
