Kaamkaaz is a hyperlocal mobile application designed to connect daily wage workers (such as builders, plumbers, painters, and agricultural workers) directly with local recruiters and households, without any middlemen.
Yes, Kaamkaaz is completely free for both workers and recruiters. There are no job posting charges, subscription fees, or application commissions. Any core features introduced will remain free.
Currently, Kaamkaaz fully supports Hindi and English languages. We are actively working to add more regional Indian languages like Punjabi, Marathi, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, and Odia in the near future.
First, download the app and register as a Worker. Complete your Profile and submit your Aadhaar KYC. Once verified, you can browse hyperlocal jobs on the home screen map or list and click 'Apply Now' to connect with the recruiter.
Why is KYC verification mandatory? KYC (Aadhaar & Selfie check) is mandatory to ensure platform safety, build trust with recruiters, and prevent fraudulent accounts. Your uploaded documents are encrypted and never shown to recruiters; they only see a 'Verified' badge.
Payments are handled directly between you and the recruiter. You should agree on the daily wage, payment mode (Cash, UPI, etc.), and schedule (daily, weekly, or after job completion) before commencing work. Kaamkaaz does not process payments.
Log in as a Recruiter, click on 'Post Job', and fill in details such as job category, wage amount, location (using GPS/Map), work description, and contact preference. Your job will be immediately listed for nearby workers.
When workers apply for your posted job, you can view their profiles, verified badges, and ratings. You can communicate with them using the built-in in-app chat, or call/WhatsApp them directly if they have enabled these options.
You can delete your account inside the app: Go to Profile -> Edit Profile -> Delete My Account and confirm. Alternatively, compose an email to ankityo9079@gmail.com with the subject 'Data Deletion Request - [Your Phone Number]'.
Upon request verification, your profile, photos, KYC documents, and chat records will be permanently deleted from our active databases within 24-48 hours (in-app) or 30 days (email). Backup copies are purged within 90 days. Basic financial transactions are retained for 7 years for compliance.
