1. Current Status: Kaamkaaz is FREE
Kaamkaaz is currently completely FREE for all users — both Workers and Recruiters.
There are no charges, subscription fees, or payments required to use any features of Kaamkaaz. You can:
- ✅ Create a worker or recruiter account — FREE
- ✅ Search and apply for jobs — FREE
- ✅ Post job listings — FREE
- ✅ Access KYC verification — FREE
- ✅ Use in-app chat — FREE
- ✅ View job location and details — FREE
Since Kaamkaaz is free, there are currently no payments to refund.
2. Future Paid Features Disclaimer
Kaamkaaz may introduce optional paid features in the future, such as:
- Premium job posting (featured listings)
- Advanced recruiter tools (analytics, bulk messaging)
- Worker profile highlights
- Priority job matching
- Other value-added services
Important Notice:
If and when paid features are introduced:
- Core features will remain FREE for all users
- Users will receive 30 days advance notice
- This Refund Policy will be updated with specific terms
- Opt-in only — you choose whether to upgrade
- You will have the right to cancel anytime
Once paid features are introduced, this policy will be updated with detailed refund terms for those features.
3. General Refund Principles
If and when Kaamkaaz introduces paid features, the following refund principles will apply:
Refund Eligibility:
- Time Window: Refund requests must be made within 7 days of payment
- Service Delivery: No refund if the service has already been delivered or used
- Fraud Prevention: No refund if the request is fraudulent or policy-violating
Refund Processing:
- Timeline: Approved refunds processed within 5-7 business days
- Original Method: Refunds issued via the original payment method only
- Bank Processing: Your bank may take additional 2-3 days to credit your account
Non-Refundable Items:
- Services already delivered or completed
- Feature access that was already used
- Payments made more than 7 days ago
- Fraudulent or duplicate payments
Refund Request Status:
- You will receive email confirmation of your refund request
- Approval/rejection decision will be communicated within 5 business days
- You can check refund status in your account settings
4. How to Request a Refund
Step 1: In-App Request (Recommended)
- Open Kaamkaaz app → Profile → Settings → Request Refund
- Select the payment/feature for which you want a refund
- Provide a reason for the refund request
- Submit the request
- Confirmation email will be sent within 24 hours

- Your full name and registered phone number
- Date of payment
- Feature/service purchased

- Initial review: 1-2 business days
- Decision communicated: 5 business days
- Refund processing: 5-7 business days (if approved)
5. Google Play Store Billing
Google Play Refund Policy:
If you purchased any Kaamkaaz premium features or in-app items through Google Play Store, you are also covered by Google's refund policy:
- Policy: Google Play offers a 48-hour refund window for most purchases
- How to Request: Open Google Play Store → My Apps & Games → Installed → Kaamkaaz → Tap menu → Report a Problem

Important Note:
You can request a refund through either:
- Option 1: Google Play's 48-hour refund window (fastest)
- Option 2: Kaamkaaz's 7-day refund request (if Google Play period has passed)
We recommend using Google Play's refund option first as it is processed immediately.

- UPI (in India)
